"Whether you hike up or take the mountain railway (ideal from Vitznau), it's well worth stopping off here. The location is idyllic – at 1 550m above sea level, the terrace is wonderful – and the "natural cuisine" is another big attraction! This includes smaller plates and regular dishes such as Rigi beef ragout or burger with Alpine cheese, many of which are made with produce from the immediate vicinity or grown in their own garden.
