"Much more than a hotel with some artworks, this 600-acre sculpture park, design center, and architectural showcase grew from Patrick McKillen’s art-obsessed vision and now ranks among the MICHELIN Guide’s first-ever Three Key properties. Behind each rolling hill is another world-class piece: a bronze spider by Louise Bourgeois poised over water; a Renzo Piano pavilion with rotating exhibits; structures by Frank Gehry, Tadao Ando, and Richard Serra; the last project by Oscar Niemeyer; and installations from Bob Dylan and Michael Stipe, plus a Damien Hirst show running until June 2024. After years of commissions, the estate opened to the public in 2011, and, five years later, visitors could finally stay overnight at the highly luxurious on-site hotel." - The MICHELIN Guide
