"When I visited Cairns I went to AJ Hackett Cairns and—even though I hate heights and am a nervous flier—after some peer pressure I agreed to do the jungle swing and even did it with A.J. Hackett himself, who turned up while we were there and surprised me by being a short, hippie type who was fascinating to talk to. The Cairns location is A.J. Hackett’s favorite place to hang out and has an impressive setup offering 16 different styles of jumping (including blindfolded jumps and jumps from a BMX bike), a bar on-site, and is open daily from 10am–5pm, so you can book multiple jumps; they fill up quickly so book in advance. Single jumps start at 99 AUD, the jungle swing is 79 AUD, and photos/video (including POV footage) can be added for 129 AUD." - Matthew Kepnes
