How to Spend 24 Hours in an Airplane
"I was invited to the Boeing plant in South Carolina as part of a media crew for the delivery of Singapore Airlines’ first 10-series 787-10 Dreamliner; we spent a few days at the factory before boarding the delivery flight, using Boeing’s own gateway where we were greeted by the crew and Singapore Airlines executives. Being at the plant and part of the press core gave me a rare behind-the-scenes look at the delivery process and the hospitality around the launch, and Boeing clearly facilitated a seamless experience from factory to takeoff." - Matthew Kepnes
