On the Grid : Tomás Miranda Luthier

"*Tomás Miranda began working as an instrument repair technician in 1980 in the company Custódio Cardoso Pereira*. In 1985 he did an internship in the factory Amati instruments in Kraslice (Czechoslovakia). In 1988 he led a professional training project for the repair and restoration of musical instruments in the Couesnon factory in *Chateaux-Thierry and in the École Nationale des Métiers de la Musique*, Le Mans. His general knowledge of brass and wind instruments such as oboe, saxophone and clarinet among others, and the experience in a variety of specialist areas, like Powell flutes and Bell bassoons, as well as his attendance of the most prestigious masterclasses mean that the service provided is of high quality. A close and constant relationship with the most respected musicians is maintained, involving the exchange of knowledge and research. It is open on weekdays." - Rés-do-Chão
