On the Grid : Salon Galić
"Run by the Croatian Association of Visual Artists (HULU), Salon Galić is a gallery space centrally located on Marmont Street. The space hosts a calendar of exhibitions, which change every two weeks, and is the perfect place to check out the works of local artists like Eric del Castillo, a Mexican-born resident of Split, who’s works were on display when I visited. The artists specialize in a variety of mediums, so there is always something interesting to see. There is a second gallery space inside the Basement Halls of Diocletian’s Palace that also hosts exhibitions managed by HULU." - Leslie Yeh
