Named after head chef Sung-Hak Han’s mother, this second branch of Soon Grill in Paris offers a ‘new take on [Korean cuisine]’, combining French and Korean cooking in a way described as both ‘creative and authentic’. Drawing inspiration from the culinary traditions of Korean Buddhist temples, it serves a range of top-shelf meat cuts alongside plenty of veggie and vegan options. The experience is positioned at the high end, with dinner menus starting at €89 per person before wine pairing, reflecting how special – and pricey – the food is. - Annie McNamee
