"Located in North Canterbury just east of Christchurch, this Māori-owned vineyard—whose name draws on the Ngatiuenuku chief Tikitere Mihi—is run by Sue McKean and her partner Royce and plays an active role in the local food-and-wine scene. Though it does not yet have a permanent tasting room, the team stages tastings across New Zealand and internationally (including London) and appears at events such as the North Canterbury Wine and Food Festival.
