"Not far from the tombs of Emperor Humayun, the statesman Safdarjung, and the estates of present-day government officials, the luxurious Lodhi is an imposing presence in Lutyens’ Delhi. The Lodhi’s façade is stately enough for India’s capital city, but the impression is softened once you’re inside the lush rooms.
