Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest (Bucharest, Romania) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"At the intersection of Calea Victoriei and Elisabeta Boulevard, this 19th-century landmark returns to form under Corinthia. Originally opened in 1873, it was the first hotel in Bucharest to install electric lights and an elevator, and later became a center for royal receptions and art exhibitions. Today, just 30 suites occupy the building, each with high ceilings, bespoke furnishings, and views onto the city. Original features of marble staircases, carved columns, and statuary remain, carefully restored. Boulevard 73, the ballroom restaurant, continues the sense of occasion. And once again, the building is doing what it was built to do." - Tablet Hotels
