"Don’t let the name mislead you. Praktik Rambla is centrally located right on La Rambla, Barcelona’s famed pedestrian promenade, but the place is more than practical. The boutique hotel is located inside a striking 19th-century palace retaining many of its original details, from high moulded ceilings and Baroque columns to heavy wooden doors and intricate mosaic floors. Guest rooms are compact and stylish, outfitted in minimalist décor. Coffee and freshly baked croissants are served each morning — for something more substantial, hundreds of cafés and restaurants are within blocks of the hotel.
