"Another in a long, long list of impressive Portuguese boutique hotels is Pur Oporto, a colorful little gem mere minutes from the city center. Its primary aesthetic inspiration is azulejo, the tilework for which the region is famous; as a decorative element tile is present in varying guises all throughout the hotel. Sky blue is the dominant tone, lending the rooms a soothing softness; some of the rooms (and all of the suites) come with outdoor terrace space.
