"Voco Brisbane City Center brings some much-needed boutique-hotel style to Queensland’s capital, in the downtown core’s ever-evolving North Quay district. Its riverside setting makes for some impressive views, but the interior is easy on the eyes as well, in a palette of dark blue and gold with bold graphics and modern furnishings. Subtle high-tech touches, from charging ports to varied lighting, make these rooms ultra-usable, and the rooftop pool is an extremely welcome surprise — as is the restaurant, Kraft & Co., which evolves throughout the day from a café and bakery to a Japanese-accented modern Australian restaurant and, indeed, a swanky cocktail lounge." - Tablet Hotels
