Baha Mar Just Opened Its First Steakhouse — and They Got the Best Butcher in the World to Oversee It

"Opened as the resort's long-awaited steakhouse by master butcher Dario Cecchini, this is Cecchini's first restaurant outside Italy and the biggest culinary draw at Baha Mar; locals and tourists alike flock here. Cecchini presided over the opening—singing folk songs, carving massive porterhouses and greeting guests in his Italian-flag suit—while day-to-day service is led by executive chef Thomas Griese (trained under Thomas Keller and Michael Mina) and sommelier Juan Gargano (formerly of Aldo Sohm and Casa Apicii), who curates an unrestrained list of rare wines.
