"Overlooking the Bay of Loch nan Ceall, the Arisaig Hotel is surrounded by true Highland wilderness, from pristine, white-sand beaches to crystal-clear waters where you can spot otters and seals. Based in one of the most charming villages on the Road to the Isles, the old coaching inn is also home to Arisaig’s local folk music scene, with jam sessions taking place in the hotel bar on Friday nights throughout the year and on Sunday afternoons during the summer months. Rooms are simply furnished, with eight offering ocean views and four overlooking the village, and there’s an on-site restaurant serving local seafood like rope-grown mussels and hot-smoked salmon. When you want to get out and explore, boat trips to the islands of Eigg and Rum, as well as sea kayaking and rides on the Jacobite Steam Train, can all be easily arranged."
