"Inside the restored Pan Am building at Miami International Airport, travelers will feel as if they’re stepping back into the glamour of 1960s air travel while enjoying modern amenities: private TSA and customs clearance, private suites, a bar, an outdoor courtyard, decorative pools, work spaces, and private transfers to the aircraft. The company PS (formerly Private Suite) is restoring the 1963 midcentury modern Pan Am building—nicknamed the “Taj Mahal of Miami” and declared a Miami‑Dade Historical Site in 2014—preserving its lace‑effect façade, delicate pillars, wafer‑thin roof, undulating awning, long reflecting pool and fountains, and plans to restore original Pan Am logos and gold accents. PS MIA will offer two tiers: The Salon, a semi‑private lounge with a full bar, gourmet meals, shared transport to planes, shower suites, opulent nostalgic‑yet‑modern design (vibrant colors, a wooden wraparound bar, cozy seating) and access to an outdoor courtyard with pools and balconies; and the Private Suite, a completely private retreat with a seating area, private marble‑finished bathroom with shower, daybed, entertainment center, fully stocked bar and pantry, private balconies, dedicated staff, chef‑prepared meals, spa services (massages, haircuts, manicures) and a private chauffeur to the aircraft. Both tiers access private security lanes; renderings show warm palettes, modern furniture and arched bar areas. The Miami terminal is expected to open in spring 2026, with pricing at $1,295 per person for The Salon and $4,950 for up to four people in a Private Suite, plus optional annual memberships that cost thousands of dollars and offer visit discounts. PS already operates similar private terminals at LAX and ATL and plans additional rollouts (DFW and Paris CDG) in 2026." - Jessica Puckett
