"Let’s start big picture. What’s the vibe here? Pretty much at the geographic heart of downtown Dallas , the new Discovery District is a great outdoor meeting, drinking, and dining spot for downtown commuters and tourists alike. Any standout features or must-sees? The 104-foot-tall "Media Wall" is hard to miss, bringing digital art to life in incredible detail. "The Globe" is a perspective-twisting multicolored tunnel containing an interactive light and sound experience. Was it easy to get around? The Discovery District is essentially an enormous courtyard, so it's easy to navigate. The only real choice is where to sit down and order drinks and food. Jaxon, with its large outdoor space, is a favorite, but there are also plenty of great options in the Food Hall, including Lebanese and Moroccan cuisine from Baboushi and delicious seafood options from The Dock. All said and done, what—and who—is this best for? The Discovery District was years in the making, and AT&T clearly put plenty of thought into it. This spot is perfect for a weekday lunch or a relaxed evening, with food options for any mood and excellent people-watching as downtown Dallas flows by." - Jonathan Thompson
