How to Visit Scotland's Inner Hebrides—No Sailing Experience Required | Condé Nast Traveler

"We boarded Eda Frandsen, a 1938 Danish gaff cutter bought in 2020 by recently wed co-owners Mungo Watson and Stella Marina, who run trips out of Cornwall and the west coast of Scotland from April to September. The six-night voyage cost £1,440 per person including all meals, and below deck we ate by candlelight in a cozy wood-finished galley on fresh langoustines, mussels and chilled rosé — Marina, who spent much of her career as a superyacht chef, cooks exceptionally well — while Watson quipped that they’re like a food trip with some occasional sailing thrown in. Bunks were comfier than expected, the trip is deliberately open to novices to fight sailing’s elitism, and the experience combined close-quarters camaraderie with memorable moments of pure sailing silence." - Alexander Barlow
