"Step inside this new trattoria and you might think you’ve entered one of the backstreets of Milan. Think Italian classics and a well-rounded wine list, but if there’s one place to focus your attention to its the restaurant’s pasta selections starting with the Pescatore, a squid-ink-infused spaghetti dish with mussels, clams, shrimp, octopus, and pomodoro all brought together in a rich garlic sauce and given a kick with Aleppo pepper. The gnocchi, stuffed with house-made ricotta and Italian sausage, is also a standout. Mains include your classic Italian staples like eggplant parmesan, grilled branzino, but the pork saltimbocca is the real showstopper: A ravenous bone-in pork scallopini with prosciutto, white wine, sage, broccolini, spinach, and crispy fingerling potatoes." - Megha McSwain, Sean Hekmat
