"The New York–based burger chain is opening a new 2,800-square-foot food-court location inside the Somerset Collection in Troy, slated to debut at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 13. The stand follows the brand’s familiar design cues — including bowling-alley-lane tabletops — and offers its signature menu items such as Angus beef burgers on Martin’s Potato Rolls, fried chicken sandwiches, griddled hot dogs, and crinkle-cut fries. The dessert lineup will include frozen concretes like the Somer Break (vanilla custard with strawberry purée, rainbow sprinkles, and Zingerman’s Bakehouse pecan blondies). This marks the company’s third Michigan location (after openings in downtown Detroit and Troy in 2017) as it expands across southeast Michigan, with another restaurant planned for downtown Ann Arbor this fall; the first 100 visitors at the opening can expect free swag." - Brenna Houck
