"This Georgetown bookstore—founded by ten women and opened in late April—has added an in-store cafe that is moving from a limited menu to full service beginning August 29. The cafe’s kitchen is overseen by chef James Reedy with consulting input from chef Rich Reimbolt and partnership help from Matt Wright; it offers breakfast and lunch items such as a yellow curry chicken salad, toasts, a croque madame, and kid-friendly granola/fruit/yogurt. Vegan and gluten-free options are available (including a biscuit), and dinner service will be added later. The bar program features draft cocktails, sangria, beer taps highlighting Central Texas breweries, and a mostly Texas-focused wine list. Coffee currently uses espresso beans from Portland roastery Heart with plans to add Austin roasters Figure 8, Spokesman, and Patika. The cafe sits inside the bookstore with outdoor seating in an adjacent beer garden (previously part of the neighboring restaurant), and the opening will be celebrated with ribbon cutting ceremonies, raffles, family events with the Georgetown Fire Department and its fire dog Koda, and a live DJ." - Nadia Chaudhury
