"An Austin export for sustainably sourced tacos, Tacodeli is opening a second Plano outpost at 2401 Preston Road, and I note the brand already operates 10 locations in Texas with this becoming its fourth in the DFW area. The company built its reputation on more than 40 taco varieties that use sustainable ingredients—organic, humanely raised pork; chicken raised without antibiotics and on all-vegetarian feed; and sustainably sourced seafood—and the new spot will introduce the Preston Road and W. Park Boulevard shopping area to a massive breakfast-and-lunch menu with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options inspired by traditional Mexican street tacos rooted in owner Robert Espinosa’s heritage. Tacodeli opens Wednesday, July 25, will operate Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. (opening an hour later on Saturday and Sunday), and I see the Texas expansion continuing as Espinosa and his partner Eric Wilkerson plan more Austin-area locations over the next year." - Alaena Hostetter
