"Opening Wednesday, January 19 in Charlotte’s South End, this buzzy new spot features a hip dining room and a small-plates menu leaning heavily on seafood and Asian influences. Chef Alex Verica (formerly of Dot Dot Dot and The Stanley) emphasizes working with local farmers while taking a more global approach; menu highlights include indulgent items such as lobster toast with caviar, wagyu beef tartare with caviar, and milk bread topped with foie gras, peanut butter, and jam, along with showy offerings like a lobster shooter aimed at Instagram crowds and big spenders. The project comes from Parliament Hospitality Group LLC, led by industry veterans Chet Desai, Jigs Desai, Dave Feimster, and Ricky Patel, and will operate at 235 W.
