"Jia has found the right recipe to succeed at this southside location. From the first steps through the gate of the restaurant, owner Cynthia Linh has recreated the feel of East Asian night markets and bustling streets. with bright neon, and giant paper-mâché moon and clouds, complement a graffiti-styled warrior over the bar that appears to be slashing at the white-leafed tree in the center of the dining room. The playful vibe also applies to the drinks which include the Artemis Redemption, a gin cocktail with pineapple and pomegranate, and the Mother of Dragons made with green chile-infused vodka. Two or more diners can dive into the bone-in beef noodle soup, which comes with a mammoth beef short rib in a spicy broth with a bed of udon noodles. Also, don’t miss the giant crispy chicken wings glazed in honey, soy, ginger, garlic, and sesame sauce.
