Bucharest Grill’s Corktown Restaurant Is Closed; M Street Baking and Warda Patisserie Open New Sites | Eater Detroit

"After closing its Corktown restaurant, Bucharest Grill is making way for a mid-rise apartment building with retail on the former Michigan Avenue site, and owner Bogdan Tarsov tells Eater the sandwich chain will reopen at a new Corktown location at Trumbull and Church in 2023. The chain still has four remaining Detroit locations, including a downtown spot at 436 W. Columbia Street and a restaurant in Royal Oak; Bucharest launched more than a decade ago as a walk-up window inside the Park Bar downtown and in 2016 relocated a location to its current site on East Jefferson in Rivertown." - Monica Williams
