"Housed in the former Eastside Mario’s American Italian Eatery building, the new 33,000-square-foot Rochester Hills production facility doubles the brewery’s footprint and includes a 20-barrel brew house, a larger cooler, additional distilling equipment, and a second canning and kegging line. With major construction complete, the site was scheduled to begin shipping and distribution in February and to start brewing in the spring, enabling on-site canning of small-batch beers and helping the company target roughly 20,000 barrels of combined production in 2018. The operation planned to help produce and package a slate of 29 canned beers that year — with specialty and small-batch products handled at Rochester Hills — and hopes to add a tasting room eventually while focusing initially on expanding production and warehouse capacity. (Correction noted: the brew house is 20 barrels, not 50.)" - Brenna Houck
