"Tucked near the Seneca Creak State Park, this family-owned winery in Darnestown, Maryland features plenty of seating in its tasting room, under its shaded canopy and pavilions, outdoor patio, and expansive lawns with picnic tables. Reservations are recommended (with a two-hour time limit), but walk-ins are also welcome. Guided vineyard tours with sips are $45 per person (with a $15 tasting-only option). Windridge is open Wednesday through Sunday, with hours varying between 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Food for purchase includes charcuterie, locally sourced cheese, and crackers (or bring your own).
