Zao Jun, a New ‘Pan-Asian’ Restaurant From Adachi Chef, Opens on May 6 - Eater Detroit
"The team behind Japanese restaurant Adachi in Birmingham is set to open its new “pan-Asian” restaurant Zao Jun next month. The 184-seat restaurant helmed by executive chef Lloyd Roberts and general manager David Kraus will debut at 6608 Telegraph Rd. in Bloomfield on Monday, May 6. Roberts worked as a chef for international Nobu restaurants before relocating to Michigan for Adachi. He’s created a menu at Zao Jun that touches on Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Korean, and Indonesian cuisine, per a release. That means diners can expect to see items like Mandarin bang chicken served family-style as well as maki rolls, Thai mango salad, and tom gai soup.
