"I visited the resort’s renovated five-acre pool deck for the 2021 season and found new cabanas—some with private plunge pools—a new restaurant from 50 Eggs, and a revamped cocktail program by New York barman Sam Ross (who created drinks at The Dorsey, Rosina, and Electra Cocktail Club). The pools that span the length of the Venetian and Palazzo now nod to the Italian Riviera with Italian art and architecture; the deck includes daybeds and chaise lounges within the pools and 10 new cabanas. The main deck features four large pools (three infinity pools), in-pool ledge loungers, several daybeds located in the center of the pool, a splash pad for kids, and a quieter spa pool for relaxation. There are 55 cabanas ranging from 180 to 1,450 square feet with air conditioning and a personal cabana host; cabanas for 20 come with a plunge pool, a daybed, a private shower, chilled face towels, vintage games, and two 75-inch HDTVs, and all cabanas include a private restroom, built-in charging stations, a fully stocked refrigerator, carafes of fruit-infused water, four chaise lounges, and a fruit plate (those without plunge pools can accommodate up to 15 people)." - Susan Stapleton
