"Chef Mario Vollera brings his pizza knowledge to the Bay Area after stints in Italy, New York, and Los Angeles, where he opened his pizzeria South End. Now at Three One Four in Berkeley, his pizza is a mix of different styles, he told the San Francisco Chronicle, bringing sourdough, New York-style thin crust, and word-fired Neapolitans together into one pie.
