"Noemi Chiriac revamped this cafe and gave it a (slightly) new name. Now, it’s a spot to get breakfast and lunch or visit during the 4 to 7 p.m. happy hour for $7 martinis. The excellent coffee comes out of a Faema espresso coffee maker, so every cup is great. The dining room has an upscale diner vibe, with brightly colored furniture and lots of dramatic flourishes in decor. The staff doesn’t mind at all if you linger.
