"As one of America’s most beloved national chains, Cracker Barrel remains a Southern-fried sit-down dining experience with roots in Tennessee and Mississippi, and I note the company is steadily expanding west; a new Rialto location is planned at 1080 West Renaissance Parkway. This will be the second San Bernardino County spot after last year’s big foray in Victorville, where the company planted its big corporate flagship for all of California right off the freeway en route to Las Vegas and was immediately mobbed with hours-long lines as many Angelenos and Orange County visitors made the trek for biscuits and gravy. I hope the jump to Rialto will help stem some of that traffic: the site sits just off the 210 freeway, offers about 10,000 square feet of dining and retail space with seating for nearly 200 people, and is breaking ground in a few days with an opening slated for April 2019. Cracker Barrel has also recently opened in the greater Sacramento area and is under construction for a Central Coast location in Santa Maria." - Farley Elliott
