"I can spend New Year’s Eve this year by partying with Hot Doug himself at a pop-up at the Library Bar inside the Ambassador Chicago hotel in the Gold Coast, where patrons can eat unlimited foie gras and sauternes duck sausages, alligator sausages with crayfish remoulade and Jarlsberg cheese, duck fat fries, and other Hot Doug’s favorites; a cash bar and a DJ playing Sohn’s playlist round out the $100-per-person experience (a spokesperson says the price has been dropped to $75), with tickets available." - Daniel Gerzina
