"Located on Highway 114 in Southlake, this fast-food restaurant is where the musician worked for about two years in high school and later returned for a 2018 documentary tied to his album Beerbongs & Bentleys; he described it as his “first and last job” and said he was working there to save up for a pair of Versace shoes. On December 4 the location hosted a daylong giveaway (which kicked off around 10:30 a.m.) handing out hundreds of pairs of his new Crocs — the artist himself was not expected to attend — and heavy crowds were anticipated after similarly long lines when his first Crocs collaboration launched earlier this year. Staff recollections include a manager saying the young worker was the only one required to wear a hat and that his long, stringy hair made him seem unready for fast-food work. The event was another high-profile merch activation in the DFW area following a recent Bud Light collaboration." - Amy McCarthy
