"Founded and owned by Johnnie Schram, who died Monday morning at 76 after a long illness, the beloved Crazy Johnnie’s ultimately closed its doors in the summer of 2014. What began as a bar added a very popular steak night in the ’90s and soon became best known for budget-friendly, quality meat — especially cheap steaks and filet mignon po‑boys.
