Vancouver’s Little Conejo Taqueria Just Opened a Cart in Portland - Eater Portland
"Some of Portland’s best tacos are now available at Prost Marketplace, the Oregonian first reported. Little Conejo, the taqueria from Noble Rot’s Mychal Dynes and Nodoguro’s Mark Wooten, opened their Portland cart without announcement Wednesday, including favorites from its flagship like suadero and choriqueso (chorizo and cheese). The full menu includes fillings like carnitas, al pastor, and the two previously mentioned meats for $3.50 per taco, as well as oyster mushroom, nopales, fried fish, and lengua for $4. For months, one of the area’s most exciting new taquerias wasn’t in Portland: Little Conejo opened across the river in Vancouver, where it served achingly delicious tacos at an airy counter-service spot on W 6th Street. Beyond just making their own tortillas, Dynes and Wooten grind their own masa for those tortillas. The restaurant also has a fully-stocked Mezcal bar; while the cart won’t have any agave spirits, its neighboring cart Bloodbuzz makes a blended paloma with grapefruit radler that would work pretty dang well with tacos." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
