"Opened in late November in the former Shiraz space, this Mexican restaurant launched amid pandemic-era restrictions — 25% dine-in capacity, required reservations and a four-person-per-table limit — and opted to temporarily pause service on January 30, with the chef saying the closure would last about a month until conditions become more sustainable. Chef Robert Lomeli encouraged diners to try the dishes he describes as being "in his heart," promised the restaurant will return "stronger than ever," and noted he opened the concept with support from consultants Antonio Nunez (The Stove, Henderson), Lanny Chin (The Slanted Door at the Forum Shops at Caesars) and Slurp Society of the Vegas Test Kitchen." - Susan Stapleton
