"This smash-burger concept from the team behind Sorry Not Sorry Creamery has leveraged the owners' social-media savvy (a combined ~1.4 million followers across @unlokt and @hookedlv) to build buzz and studied successful smash-burger formulas from other cities before tailoring and precisely marketing the concept for Las Vegas. The burgers use fresh Black Angus patties smashed on a hot griddle until a lacy crust forms, then are stacked with melted American cheese, whisper-thin onions, and a soft potato roll—designed to be both camera- and crowd-friendly. Even on weekdays the Centennial Hills location draws long lines that wrap around the strip mall, and the menu also features soft-serve custard dipped in nostalgic coatings like cherry and birthday cake. A second southwest Las Vegas location at the Bend (8670 West Sunset Road, Suite H-110) is slated to open later this year and is expected to attract similar crowds." - Janna Karel
