Eads Street in Arlington, this large love letter to Peru debuted with lunch in mid-October and has since added dinner service; starting Monday, October 23 the extended hours are 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Mon–Wed, until 9 p.m. Thu–Fri, 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Sat, and 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Sun, with online ordering for pickup available. Founded by brothers Giuseppe and Mario Lanzone as a food truck in 2012, Peruvian Brothers specializes in sizable sandwiches (guests can add prized Peruvian avocado to fillings like chorizo, braised beef, and salted pork tenderloin), baked empanadas, ceviche, rotisserie chicken sold by the half/quarter/whole, and sides such as yuca fries, quinoa salad, and fried plantains; a section of saltados offers proteins like filet, shrimp, chicken, and vegetables served with rice (or noodles) and fries, and desserts include flan and picarones.
