"Set to open at 19 Poplar St. in Roslindale (the former Jerusalem Trading space), this forthcoming Cajun-style seafood spot will focus on Vietnamese-Cajun shaken seafood, letting diners choose shellfish such as crab, lobster, shrimp, and clams tossed in a variety of shaking sauces. The menu will also feature appetizers like fried calamari and fried oysters, and the roughly 90-seat restaurant — run by owners who operate similar concepts in Virginia and Georgia — may accommodate live music. Signage has already been approved by the Boston Planning and Development Agency, but the team is finishing the buildout and waiting on inspections and a liquor license (which has been a bit of a process); they say it could open as soon as May. This operation is not related to the local Shaking Crab chain." - Terrence Doyle
