"Operating since 2008 after being opened by Top Chef alum Brooke Williamson and partner Nick Roberts, the Redondo Beach Hudson House has long been a waypoint for families and locals seeking classic American comfort food from brunch through dinner; Williamson left the restaurant in 2020. The current owners say they have used the Hudson House name for almost 15 years and allege that the recent West Hollywood opening of a Dallas-based Hudson House is causing customer confusion, frustrating patrons and leading to lost sales, so they have launched a trademark infringement lawsuit to protect their established LA-area rights; on the advice of their lawyers they declined to comment." - Farley Elliott
