"Located at 9411 Telegraph Road in Taylor, this single-story outpost opened in a former Mexican restaurant and drew long lines on its Cinco de Mayo debut, reproducing many classics from the original menu—tacos, chilaquiles, and tortas—while initially offering an abbreviated selection (menudo and camarones rancheros are not yet available). The space includes a self-serve area for freshly made chicharrones and a small selection of imported Mexican pantry items, plus a full bar with an extensive array of agave spirits, wines, beers, cocktails and aguas frescas. The family completed renovations and city permitting, added rustic touches and custom-made seating imported from Guadalajara, and plans to tweak the menu based on customer feedback; the location is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m." - Serena Maria Daniels
