"After the EaDo location closed late last year, the barbecue operation has reopened inside the Cypress Trail Hideout, giving owner Wesley Jurena more pit capacity and better parking than the original brick-and-mortar (opened in 2015). The new, more expansive space includes outdoor seating and a stage for live music. Jurena — who began smoking meats in 2009 and sharpened his craft on the competition circuit before moving from a food truck to a permanent spot — showcased a menu at a recent pop-up that featured sausage, ribs, brisket, mac and cheese, pinto beans and more, selling out of several items. Service is currently dinner only Tuesday through Sunday, with lunch planned to be added in the coming weeks." - Amy McCarthy
