"Hidden inside a combination truck stop and wash since 2014, SNS Diner is making a major move less than half a mile around the corner, headed into a much larger space equipped with a drive-thru and 600-square-foot outdoor smoke yard. Despite its obscure North Las Vegas location, the Diner has managed to earn a loyal following for its traditional diner menu and the house specialty of barbecue meats, all slow-smoked on site. Closing last month, fans, truckers, and locals will now have to wait a few more weeks until the Southern Nevada Smokehouse returns to action inside a former 4,400-square-foot McDonald’s restaurant. Achieving national attention with a makeover on the Food Network’s American Diner Revival TV show, SNS frequently updated it barbecue specials of turkey, bacon, ham, hotlinks, ribs, pulled pork, and brisket." - Bradley Martin
