Detroit’s Hard Rock Cafe Closes in January - Eater Detroit
"The Detroit outpost of the international chain has confirmed it will depart from downtown’s One Campus Martius building on January 26, 2019. The Detroit location was established in 2003 and drew lines at its opening. The Hard Rock Cafe features memorabilia from many of metro Detroit’s music icons including Marvin Gaye and Madonna with the guitar sign designed after one owned by Ted Nugent. In a statement to multiple outlets today, the Hard Rock Cafe stated that its lease was ending in the building but that the company isn’t ruling out relocating elsewhere in the city." - Brenna Houck
