"Opening October 24 at 2150 West 7th Street, I’m looking forward to Snooze’s new two-story, 4,000-square-foot Fort Worth outpost — the brand’s first double-decker restaurant — which features tall ceilings and a mural of the Fort Worth Stockyards by local artist Noah Baker. Known for drawing long lines and hour-plus waits at its Addison and Dallas locations, Snooze is famous for fluffy gluten-free pancake flights, multiple variations of eggs benedict, and a “Like a Feather” section with healthier fare such as sweet potato hash, avocado toast with onion jam, and a frittata with asparagus, mushroom, zucchini, arugula, and cherry tomatoes. Boozy brunch cocktails and riffs on traditional mimosas join a selection of local craft beers and Snooze’s own sparkling wine on tap (created by co-founder Jon Schlegel), which the company says cuts the typical bottle-related carbon footprint by 96 percent and keeps the equivalent of 130,000 hypothetical bottles from reaching the landfill. The Fort Worth location will operate daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m." - Alaena Hostetter
