"An expansive Library of Things that has grown into a major non‑book collection, offering roughly 900 different items (not counting books and media) and about 100 cake pans. The cake pan program began as a 60‑pan test and proved extremely popular: the pans — mostly donated — have been checked out more than 6,000 times. Staff showcase the collection on the library’s YouTube channel, recycle surplus donations through the Friends group to fund new buys, and use the program to support lifelong learning and creativity in the community." - Emma Grillo
