"Franklin’s former stove factory has received an impressive transformation, bringing the space from a giant indoor ghost town to an epicenter for local shopping and dining. During its tumbleweed days, Saffire was one of The Factory’s only draws, doubling as one of Franklin’s few options for fancier fare. Hearts broke city-wide when it closedin 2018, but were healed when the beloved restaurant returned in fall 2024. The menu is a confluence of old and new—Southern steak and biscuits sit beside wood-fired filet mignon, and a country ham-topped Caesar stacks up to goat cheese-topped roasted beets. The outdoor patio, also a new addition, sits right beneath the city’s iconic water tower." - Kellie Walton
