"Blossom & Root has always served a plant-based menu since its opening in 2023, and now former Lazy Bear co-chef Chris Johnson is leading the charge as the new executive chef at this Danville restaurant. There are familiar brunch items on the menu, including a tofu scramble breakfast burrito and chilaquiles, but delve deeper and find items such as mushroom lettuce cups and the funghi sandwich, made with crispy maitake mushrooms and Southern-style barbecue sauce.
