"A new Blue Sushi Sake Grill opened at the McEwen Northside complex in Franklin, and I noticed the space—designed with Design Collective Nashville—features splashy elements like a backlit lounge collage of a massive Godzilla and large geisha murals on the exterior by local muralist Eric “Mobe” Bass. As with its other locations, the menu includes an assortment of rolls and sashimi and Japanese-inspired dishes such as the Cherry Bomb (bigeye tuna on rice tempura topped with serrano, sriracha, togarashi, and ponzu), a beef tenderloin served on sizzling rocks with jalapeno ponzu and yuzu kosho, and crispy Brussels sprouts tossed in a creamy lemon miso sauce with toasted cashews; hours are Mon–Thu 11 a.m.–10 p.m., Fri–Sat 11 a.m.–11 p.m., and Sun noon–9 p.m." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones
